a little Tuesday inspiration...

Look at me, look at me!  Two posts already this week...wow...I'm on a roll.  Hopefully this rebound doesn't mean my writing is suffering...not that I'm superstitious or anything...LOL.

Before I forget - just found a contest and wanted to give a shout out.   Check it out here...you could win a 20 page critique...which I am in desperate need of and drooling over....
Editorial Ass - Half a Million and Counting

And, yes, in a way, this post is a bit of a cop-out.  There.  I said it.  You were thinking it, right?  You would think with all the writing I've been claiming to be doing lately that I would have shared something on Teaser Tuesday, yes?  Well, I have indeed been doing a lot of writing lately and even more re-writing and obsessing as I often do and I do actually plan on posting something next week!  It's called a teaser for a reason people, right?  So here and now, I vow to share something next week.  Hold me to that.

So instead today I thought a bit of writing inspriration would be nice.  I ran across a couple of my favorite videos this weekend while exercising that I really wanted to share.  Hopefully I can locate them on youtube (searching now)....

And I'm weird like that...I enjoy watching and listening to music while I workout.  Something about watching videos just moves me sometimes and I find that I run to some pretty slow songs but it's usually the emotion behind them that moves me.  As I watched a few of my favorite videos I realized that those simple videos I love are exactly what I hope to do with my writing.  To move people, to make people feel something from the words.  That's the ultimate goal.

These artists, in my opinion, do that with their voices and I envy them.

First up is Adam Lambert from an American Idol performance last year:

Okay, I have the original version on my IPOD and this isn't the best but hopefully you get the idea.  I can't take my eyes off of him when he sings this song...he's just there with the microphone, singing beautifully, and I can't help but be moved...every.single.time.

Here's another video that always captures my attention:

It starts slow, but the lead singer makes me feel his emotions with this video.  I have watched it again and again and again.

And lastly, this one is for Eva and myself...not sure I need to explain this one, do I?

Happy writing everyone!

*hugs*

a great big bloggy hug!

I made the comment to a good friend the other day that I feel quite blogger schizophrenic these days.  It seems that when my writing is going well (meaning I'm actually writing, not that I have any idea how it will turn out if you know what I mean...and I'm sure you do) - anyhoo, my blogging tends to suffer, yet when I seem to have writer's block my blogging and commenting flourishes.  Hmmm....guess that would mean I get my writing fix one way or the other...I vow to try to balance it out!  It's anyone's guess as to whether or not it will actually work....

But perhaps I'm too hard on myself because I've been feeling the bloggy love lately even in my blogosphere absense and it most definitely gives me the warm fuzzies!

So on to some fun awards...shall we???

First up is a lovely award from Mia over at Literary Jam and Toast...and how cool is that blog name by the way???  I love it!  Thanks Mia and I'm afraid that I've hung on to this one for much too long.  Sorry Mia!

And you know what?  I've gotten this award a few times and somehow have never managed to actually tell 7 things about myself!!!  I'm not sure how this has happened but I shall rectify it immediately!

1 - I have found some of the coolest friends and fellow writers through blogging!  (Ok, you probably already knew that but I still like to share it!)

2 - I put on my "comfy clothes" the minute I get home from work.  I can't stand not being comfortable when I'm home and ready to chill.  Sweatpants and stretchy things are a must!

3 - I *heart* cute shoes.  I'm seriously doing a closet/shoe picture post sometime in the future.  Cute heels are my weakness.  It's a shame they don't go well with above mentioned sweatpants.

4 - My younger sister is a true-life hero in my eyes.  A cancer survivor in remission...but better than that, one amazing, caring, super cool, athletic, smart, chick!

5 - Lying is like my #1 pet peeve.  I just don't get it.  Why do it?  I don't know...I tend to be trusting and gullible so this one just really irks me.  Unless it's for fun, like in a blog award, and then I love it.  Just wanted to clarify because the lying one is my absolute favorite to read, but I think we can all agree that that's different, right?

6 - I'm addicted to hot tea.  Love it.  All kinds.  No sweetener needed.

7 - I also love sushi.  I never would have thought raw fish could be so tasty!

Next up is one of my favorite guys, DL over at Cruising Altitude!  He never ceases to make me smile and often cracks me up with his thoughtful and hilarious comments....not to mention he's one heck of a writer.

He bestowed me with this beauty:

Here's the rules for this one:
1) Post the award
2) Pass on to 12 bloggers that brighten your day
3) Link to nominees
4) Link back to givers.

DL cheated on this one and I'm following suit...12 seems like an awful lot.  I'm going to go with...hmm...Five!

Kim Franklin - If you've never visited Kim's blog, first of all...SHAME on you.  Seriously!  Slap yourself on the hand before going there now.  I'll wait.  Harder!  Okay...now that you've visited her site (and can barely type without it hurting) you know that the sunshine award just fits her.  I'm sure she has probably recieved this award numerous times but it will not stop me from sending it her way once more, because, well, she deserves it for entertaining the rest of us non-stop and making us smile...typically from her love of hot boys.

Jade at Jade Hears Voices - her posts never cease to make me laugh out loud.  Actually, I'm not sure I've ever read one (even her frustrated ones) in which I kept a straight face.  She is total sunshine even when she tries her best NOT to be.  Love her blog - go there straight away if you've never been...(I also like to randomly insert British phrases to entertain myself)

Michele at Southern City Mysteries - I had the chance to meet this lovely blogger in person last week, not just once, but twice, and she is amazing!  I'm thinking the sunshine award also belongs to her, hands down.  If you haven't been to her site, make sure to check it out...she always has great interviews, guest bloggers, information and other things for writer's...

Shannon at Book Dreaming - She always has positive, fun things going on around her blog.  I haven't checked but I'm sure she's received this award a dozen times herself.  I dare you to go to her blog and NOT smile...

Kelly Polark - Just check out her photo on the blog...does this not just ooze Sunshine???  Seriously...her blog is also another of those that always makes me smile.  And her love of music is contagious....

Moving on to an award that is oh so pretty and I'm seriously EXCITED to be getting from DL, check it out:

The rules:
1. Choose five followers/commenters that 'get' you
2. Write something fake (preferably not too mean) about them
3. Link to them, and link back to this post to comment your receipt of the award

First of all, this one may be the easiest award to give out that I've ever recieved.  These people popped into my head instantly with no doubt.  And how cool is that award?  I'm going to cheat and list the four that instantly came to mind:

1 - DL at Cruising Altitude - DL almost quit blogging entirely when one of his so-called-blogger-friends gave him the "build your own book boyfriend" award

2 - Kristin at Kristin Creative - Kristin once spent an entire night in jail due to rushing onstage at a Goo-Goo Dolls concert and attacking Johnny Rzeznik.
3 - Kimberly Franklin - Kim was with Kristin the night of the Goo-Goo Dolls "incident" but was unavailable to help...they found her backstage hanging with the opening band later.  She issued a statement to the press saying, "I couldn't help it...there were hot boys!"

4 - Jennifer Shirk at Me, My Muse and I - Jennifer once attended culinary school with Chef Gordon Ramsay, who claims Jennifer is one mean cook!

And lastly, there's this beauty of an award that I have gotten and bestowed on others before:

My bestie Kim gave me this one in what was quite simply the coolest post ever and because it was I'm linking to it here.  I never mind getting this one time and time again, because let's be honest, is there anything better than having a large group of friends?  No, I think not.

And that concludes today's award ceremony!  Whew!  I think we should celebrate by being lazy, having a glass of wine, and reading a good book.  What do you think?

Hope everyone's weekends went well!!!

*hugs*
kristi

And the Twilight Contest winner is....

I feel like a moment of silence may be needed in honor of using Kim's cool contest graphic for the last time.
**insert dramatic pause here**

It's finally here - Kim and I are ready to announce the Twilight/New Moon contest winners.

How exciting is that?! So very exciting!

But I'll go ahead and admit that judging this contest was no easy task! Actually, it was impossible. Kim and I loved all of the entries so much that we had no other choice than to let someone else do the judging for us (all judges will remain unnamed and have now been enrolled in JPP--Judging Protection Program. You know, just in case.)

I guess we're wimpy or something. But hey, we should get some credit. We did narrow it down to four entries--which was so incredibly HARD! (You should feel sorry for us! You do, don't you?)

Are you ready?  Are you feeling it?  Do you have your Edward and Jacob game faces on?

Here we go:

First up, we have the second place winner, who has earned:

$10 Starbucks Gift Card, New Moon Sweethearts and Twilight buttons--TEAM JACOB!

But wait! Before I announce the second place winner, I want to share with you what this lovely lady wrote.

He wrapped his arms around me tight, fire trailed up my spine. I squirmed to slip away, but let's face it, I was nothing but a toothpick between his fingers.

His breath snaked along my neck and in my ear. "Bella," he hummed.

"Mmm?" I closed my eyes and fell into his spell, remembering runs through the forest at break-neck speed, me clinging on for dear life, bounding from boulder to boulder. What more did I want out of life?

His lips crushed to mine in one powerful motion, my heart pounding so loudly that vampires in the next county were sure to hear. But I had no reason to be afraid... not anymore.

"Bella," he said again. "I love you."

"I love you, too, Jacob."

His hands released me in a fury. My eyes opened just in time to see his body fling back twenty feet, leaves twirling in his wind.

"It's Edward, Bella! I'm Edward!"

"I, uh," am and idiot? "I have to go."

LOL! Isn't that funny?!

I'm sure the winner already knows who she is, but I'll go ahead and tell everyone, because we all can't be mind readers like Edward. (Ha!)

And the Second Place Winner of the Twilight Contest is...........

YAY, Kristin! Please email Kim at Kimlfranklin@gmail.com with your address so she can mail out your prizes (and your Team Jacob buttons!)!!!!

Okay, so the time has finally come to announce the Grand Prize Winner, who will win the fabulous prizes below.....
Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson Autographed Twilight Photo
&
a $20 Barnes & Noble Gift Card
And the uber awesome, creative, cool winning entry is......

The Beauty and the Beast and Edward Scissorhands

Belle entered her new classroom and sat in the only seat available. As she patted her yellow dress down, she sneaked a sideways glance at her new science partner and took a seat. The boy slid towards the window making a large clanking noise that sounded like metal screeching against metal. The whole class turned to look at the two of them. Belle couldn’t stop staring at the sharp metal spikes protruding from the boy’s hands. She licked her lips and quickly thought of her hundreds of knives at home that put Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s knife collection to shame. This is one boy that could put another notch on her belt (with his own hands of course). And he would be pretty handy as a science partner come frog dissection time.

The boy with the sharp hands and crazy head of hair stared outside, stared at Mr. Case at the front of the classroom, stared at anything but Belle during the entire hour of science. This only intrigued Belle more. Who was this interesting boy that she suddenly couldn’t stop thinking about?

After school Belle took her time walking home to the dark and damp castle. She had been there two weeks, and Forks still didn’t feel like home yet. As she pushed open the heavy front door, she heard the shuffling of large, hairy feet.

“Belle, my beauty, you are home from school! I finally fixed your bicycle. It is in tip top shape for your next ride to the cliffs. It has a basket, bell, and streamers!”

Belle looked up at the Beast. He was a good beast, and he loved her so. But he was like a brother to her. A brother whose fur seemed to always smell like wet beast with the nonstop rain in their new town.

“Thank you, Beast,” Belle said as she kissed his cheek. “You are too kind. If you don’t mind, I’m going to head up to my room to do homework.”

Belle left a confused, but understanding Beast with Mrs. Potts in the dining room.

Belle lifted her skirt with one hand and took Lumiere with the other to light the way up the long, winding staircase to her bedroom. She set the candelabra on the table next to her prized knife collection. She watched the flames dance in the reflection of the silver blades until she flinched upon hearing a noise outside. It sounded like metal scraping against stone.

Lumiere warned Belle not to approach the window, but Belle couldn’t help herself. She leaned out and a blade slashed the sleeve of her gown. She gasped, but then caught the bicep of the boy climbing up the stone walls of the castle. The boy from science. He looked bewildered and nervous, but asked ever so softly, “May I come in?”

Belle yanked his arm upwards and the boy clanked into the room.

“Belle! No!” Lumiere shouted.

“What is going on up there?” boomed the Beast from the bottom of the stairs. “Belle, are you okay?”

Belle heard a loud footstep. She peeked out the door. “Beast! I’m fine. I just knocked over my collection. I need to clean it up. Please. I’ll be down for dinner.”

Belle shut the door and fell in a heap on the floor with her yellow dress surrounding her like a parachute. She turned to the boy. He was shaking in the corner, his forehead beaded with sweat.

“Who are you and what are you doing in my room?” she demanded with a smile.

“Belle! He’s dangerous!” Lumiere squeaked. Belle whipped a knife towards the candelabra, slicing the tallest candle.

She turned to the boy in the corner. “Who are you?”

“I am Edward,” he replied.

She crawled seductively toward him, he relaxed and reached out to caress her arm. The dagger drew a line of blood on her arm. Belle hated the sight of blood. She shuddered as he traced the line with his tongue.

Edward looked up and flashed a shy, boyish grin. Belle knew she had waited all of her life this boy. She ran her fingers through his unkempt hair as he stared at her.

“You should stay here tonight, Edward. The Beast would never come up here without my permission. He’s actually quite the gentleman.”

“I shall stay and watch you sleep,” Edward replied.

::The wild crowd cheers for the winner::

Congrats, Kelly! Please email Kim at Kimlfranklin@gmail.com with your address so she can mail out your prizes!!!!

Once again, Kim and I want to thank all of our wonderful followers for (humoring us and our Twilight obsession) participating. All of the entries were FABULOUS, and we only wish we could have given a prize to each and every one of you!

Also a huge THANKS and lots and lots of PRAISE and HUGS to Kim, who honestly rocked this contest while I sat lazily by and let her do all the work.  :-)

And with that said, I'll leave you with a video from one of my favorite bands, Death Cab for Cutie, whose song Meet me on the Equinox was showcased in NEW MOON!

Have a great weekend everyone and happy writing!

Build your own book boyfriend!

Ok party people, I was tagged by Kim to do a "build your own book boyfriend" post.

This is going to be too much fun...but first, I have to admit, like Kristin, the button was a little naughty for me to post...made me blush a bit, so I'm taking her lead by skipping that part and going straight to the fun.

Here are the rules:

From the Gutter Girls: We all have our favorite book boyfriends and now you have the chance to create one just for yourself and your fantasies! How do you play? Fill out the quiz below, post a picture of a sexy man and tag five (5) other book addicts to do the same. Don't forget to pop to their blogs as let them know they have been tagged! Once tagged... you have do do the same, grab the button, answer the questions, and keep it rolling! But don't forget the picture of the sexy man! It doesn't have to match your fantasy man, just a little eye candy for the rest of us... heheheee!

1- Hair color and style

I tend to gravitate towards the darker hair color and if I had my choice, which apparently I do...of the long, rocker, hot variety such as this:

yummy Gavin Rossdale (knew he'd be in here somewhere, right?)

or this

johnny depp, no matter what style, has the BEST hair, dark and sexy

or this

not a rocker but definitely has the hair...hot Jared Padalecki

2 - Eye color and facial features

Love them all in this category but there is always something mysterious and eye catching about blue/green eyes that make a man look exquisitely delicious...

the fab Jake G.

or maybe

yummo Bradley Cooper

3 - Height and body type

I really don't care so much about height and body type but you can never go wrong with buff men like these:

ok, Jared's in here twice, but there's a reason.  Do you see it?  If you guessed hotness you would be right!

or maybe something like this:

mmmm....makes you want to go for a swim, no?

4 - Visible age

I offer the following evidence that age definitely doesn't matter:

beautiful Taylor Lautner

gorgeous Gerard Butler

delectable Pierce Brosnan

5 - Human or other

Hmmm...either.

very vampiry..but of the good David Boreanaz variety

6 - Paranormal skills

How about must.fight.evil?

tough guy Jensen Ackles

7 - Interests

Duh....baseball anyone?

my favorite...Dustin Pedroia

or how about superstar pitcher Josh Beckett?

8 - Habitat

Does it matter?  Really?  How about in the vicinity of me?  Yes...that sounds good....

Tasty Hugh Grant...

9 - Special skills

It would be nice if my book boyfriend was hot and could entertain me...hmmm...
enter...Robbie Williams...yes, that should do it.

Ok, now to pass this fun award on to five other bloggers...
Hmmm...I choose...

Denise from VaVaVroom - I'm thinking motorcycles and hot guys go hand in hand!
Holly at Scribbles and Splashes - She has great landscape photos but what about boys?
Kelly Polark - Because she's fun and loves music!
Victoria at Dream Big Child - because I haven't seen her around in awhile!
Jennifer Shirk - because I can't wait to see the men she will choose!

Happy Monday Everyone!!!
**hugs**

Eureka!!!!

It happened.  It finally came back to me.  The writing.  Woot, woot!  Cue the music and spastic dancing.

Not sure what spectacular event led to the creativity or pouring out of the words, but here are a few of my hunches:

I recently got a new phone....gaze at it now and practically feel the addiction beginning...

I went with the classic Apple white and I sometimes find myself gazing at it.  So pretty...and yes, it is totally worth the hype.  The funniest part?  I haven't even messed with my ringtones yet...normally the first thing I do when I buy a phone, but not this phone.  No, this is for multi-tasking and playing.  I have already downloaded all of the bookie apps that I love and a few games as well.  My favorite?  Tapfish.  Having a fake aquarium should not be this fun and I'm totally addicted...

Or maybe it was the new haircut and color...

Sidenote:  I'm horrible about only getting my hair done like, twice a year, if I'm lucky, so this is HUGE.

Or maybe the new purse/pocketbook/handbook whatever you prefer to call it that I bought recently...

Sidenote #2:  I'm also horrible about carrying the same bag for over a year before replacing.  Part of the problem is that I'm picky and don't like much.  I've been searching for a replacement (no exaggeration) for atleast 6 months.  The other part of the problem is that I'm thrifty (sounds better than cheap) and I have to really love a bag to spend that kind of money on it.  This one was gorgeous and when I saw it I was prepared for the price tag.  You know what???  It's been my month...it was on clearance...please notice the nice side gathers and silk lining that are perfect for new phone mentioned above... *sigh*

Check out the pretty, pretty insides:

All of this recent change, luck, or good fortune may have been to blame for the surge in writing creativity I felt, or maybe not.  Perhaps it's the cool friends I've met on the blogs and all of my writing buddies I feel I've let down recently during my downward writing spiral.  Or maybe, just maybe, you can't force such things and they just come and go on their own.

Who cares?  I'm rolling with it and hoping it doesn't end!

The only down side?  Turning your mind off at night.

When going to bed on those nights that I'm really into my story and enjoying the writing, that certain part of my brain sometimes refuses to sleep.  It takes a while to quit going through plot scenarios and finally drift off to peaceful sleep...but wait...what is that lurking in the next room?  A freaking cobra???  Yes, I had strange dreams of snakes invading my home and strangely, I felt the best way to handle it was to grab the fanged fiend by the neck, much like a cat behind the ears, and take it out of the house as it hissed at me and threatened to kill me.  This one scene was on repeat.  All.  Night.  Long.

I guess if I have to, I'll take the trade off.  Bad dreams versus empty writing.

Here's to wishing you all the most vivid of dreams and creativity...

*hugs*

some writerly advice....

Go Write!

HA!  There it is. My very own words of wisdom.  Yes, I know, it's deep and inspiring.  Just sit there and think on it for a moment.  LOL.

Seriously though - this is what I've been telling myself all week.  Sometimes finding the time and energy to get some writing and reading done is hard when life tends to get in the way.  My motto is and will always be, live life, don't write it.  My family and building memories with them will always come first...but what about those days that I'm just lazy?

I write because it feeds a part of my creative soul that I use rarely.  It makes me whole.  Something about it just relaxes and frees me...so the irony of me not writing is that I tend to get stressed and feisty quite quickly.  Overwhelmed even.  I need my outlet to fully feel accomplished.

And so, little by little this week I'm finally putting aside some time to work.  (Which also explains my blogging hiatus!)

So, my question is, what are you doing still reading?  Get back to work!

Getting thoughts on paper is the first step and sometimes the random rambling of an idea is my favorite part!

Happy writing everyone,
*hugs*
kristi

Sunday, March 7, 2010

Ummmm....Progress - Sort of?

This is what I actually accomplished last week:

Here is my beige room before paint:

And my "Granite Dust" room post-paint:

For the amount of work and fumes that were involved, I would have hoped for more dramatic photos.  You can barely see the difference.  Quite disappointing.  I was hoping for more of an HGTV/DIY network "reveal" but oh well.  I swear you can notice the difference in person!  To be honest, I totally love the color and it's much more "grey" than the photos appear, even still, it's a more subtle tone than I normally go for.

Anyhoo - not much else going on the last few weeks, a few home improvement projects here and there and normal, everyday things.  I've got to be honest:  I'm in a writing rut.  I want to write and work on my latest projects but I just haven't been feeling the "drive" lately.  I just feel too tired and worn out.  I am the multi-tasking queen who has finally grown a bit weary.

I pledged to myself to work on a few things tonight, so wish me luck...I may be on a bit of a bloggy hiatus this week (at least on my own blog...I can't tear myself away from others on a daily basis...that involves too much detox to actually consider)....just to try to get some of my latest thoughts and things on paper...and revitalize.

Hope everyone had a great weekend...
*hugs*
kristi

PS-couldn't resist posting this precious photo of my pups...how cute is this?

Answers!

It's finally Friday *as I let out a little cheer and do a happy dance*!

Been a long, busy week and I don't know about you, but I'm ready for the weekend.  I'm hoping it allows me to catch up on my reading and writing...

BUT first, my answers to yesterday's Creative Liar award - looks like no one guessed the right one!

1 - I've changed career paths four times so far, not that I'm counting or anything.
Nope - I've pretty much been doing the same thing since graduating college...with writing on the side of course.  :-)

2 - Robert Pattinson will NOT stop calling me. Anyone know how to block his number?
I really, really, really wanted PART of this to be true - particularly the calling part.  The blocking the number was the dead give away...LOL!

3 - Speaking of Robert, I would never go to a Twilight viewing wearing cheesy t-shirts.
I totally did go to the New Moon movie, cheesy T-shirt and all.  My saying of choice?  Give Blood, Save a Vampire.  Yes, I was that older woman.  And I was okay with it.  :-)

4 - Dustin Pedroia nodded at me once during a game. I took it as his acceptance that we were meant to be...I mean, if we both weren't already married and stuff. He felt it.
THIS IS IT!!!  For those that don't know it yet, I'm a total Red Sox baseball nut.  I'm getting excited as the spring training begins and the season is almost here.  The hubs fully supports my Pedroia obsession.  And this really did happen...hubs can back me up on it.  Granted...he nodded probably more from terror of the crazy lady and her husband, but he nodded all the same.  And, yes, it made my day and I realize this makes me sound insane.  But, again, I'm okay with that too.  For the record, I love all of the Red Sox, not just Pedroia.  And Ellsbury is particlularly nice to look at and watch...when he steals a base...particularly home...very, very hard not to swoon.

But I got distracted a bit, didn't I?  It happens.  Moving on...

5 - I once saw Stephen King running alongside the road on a visit to Maine.
I really wanted this one to be true too because I adore Stephen King!  This is one of my fantasy moments that has never happened...except for in my mind.  I actually have never been to Maine but it's on my list of to-do's.

And with that...I'm off to work.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

I'm going to try to get some very writerly things done this weekend...particularly hoping to find time to work on my two WIP's but we'll see...

Holy Awards Batman!

Ok, so, first of all - painting is a bear!  But gleefully over!  I spent Sunday and Monday nights painting my bedroom (photos to come later) and was so worn out that I deemed last night a television veg-out night.  Hence my blogosphere absenteeism!  But it appears I have some catching up to do...

First of all - thanks to Kristin for this beauty of an award that means oh-so-much-to-me since it came from such a fun, lovely, Austen-loving lady!

I'm passing this one on to:

I'm betting these cool ladies have already gotten this award from other's before myself and if so, please feel free of any responsibility that comes from receiving this.  I promise not to turn you into the blog police but I did want you to know that you are each appreciated!

Next up is a highly entertaining award that I'd been hoping to get!  I received this one from fellow NC'ian Diane, author of the Circle of Friends series of books and professional speaker extraordinaire!  Thank you so much!
First the rules:

1: Thank the person who gave you the award and link to them.
2: Add the award to your blog
3: Tell six outrageous lies about yourself and One Truth.
4: Nominate six creative liars... I mean writers and post links to them.
5: Let your nominees know that they have been nominated.

I, like Diane, am going to cheat a little.  I'm going to list four lies and one truth (how fun is this?) and nominate four other liars...I mean "writers".  LOL...love that.  Here we go:

1 - I've changed career paths four times so far, not that I'm counting or anything.
2 - Robert Pattinson will NOT stop calling me.  Anyone know how to block his number?
3 - Speaking of Robert, I would never go to a Twilight viewing wearing cheesy t-shirts.
4 - Dustin Pedroia nodded at me once during a game.  I took it as his acceptance that we were meant to be...I mean, if we both weren't already married and stuff.  He felt it.
5 - I once saw Stephen King running alongside the road on a visit to Maine.

So, my pretty's...guess away!

I will pass this fun award on to:

Moving on, uber-cool-fun girl Kim gave me this glittery fun award:

I've already received this one once so I'll refer you to here for my answers because I'm totally lazy like that.  What's that I hear?  A blog siren in the distance?

Here's another VERY cool award I received recently from Jennifer.  I have to admit I love her (in a total we could be twins and not a stalking type way) so I was kind of honored to get an award from her...and impressed that she blogged so soon after returning from Disney World.  I might have slept for about a week to recover from all of the excitement:

This is a meme award and the rules for passing it on are:

1. Put the logo on your blog .
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you.
3. Award up to ten other blogs.
4. Add links to those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message for your awardees on their blogs.

As Jennifer points out...the grammar on this one is a little off but it's still beautiful and I have a few cool blogs in mind to award this one to.  There are in my eyes a few that somehow ALWAYS manage to make me wonder why I have followers at all...they always have something moving and interesting:

And lastly tonight, but certainly not least, thanks to Jackee for the pretty-cheery-always-makes-me smile award.  I've also received this one previously so you can check out my answers here.

AND that officially ends my awards day round up!  Thanks again to everyone...I really do treasure each and every award (even if I do get a little behind on posting them!).  My computer troubles haven't been helping any.  This is possibly the longest post I have ever done...due to a VERY slow computer that is out of memory.  It's like it's begging to be replaced with a MAC....

Hope everyone is well out there in the blogosphere!!!
*hugs*
